Use of High Alumina Refractory Mortar
High alumina refractory mortar is widely used in various industrial kilns made of high alumina bricks.
For example, in a hot blast stove, it is used to build a furnace roof, a regenerator, a combustion chamber, and the like.
Used in parts such as the upper part of the blast furnace.
It can also be used to repair industrial furnace roofs, furnace walls and other parts.
Good plasticity, convenient construction; strong bonding strength, strong corrosion resistance; high refractoriness; good slag resistance; good thermal exfoliation. It is generally used for refractory brick masonry with aluminum content.
Soft clay is added to the high alumina refractory mortar to improve workability, such as spreadability and adhesion. The use of soot silicon micropowder instead of soft clay can reduce the sintering temperature.
In addition, other additives for High alumina mortar mainly include precipitants, stabilizers, plasticizers and anti-shrinkage agents.
The role of the precipitant is to reduce the amount of water added;
The stabilizer prevents the solid-liquid separation phenomenon of the refractory mud which is adjusted during the standing process;
Add plasticizer to improve the spreadability of the mud and prevent runny;
The anti-shrinkage agent is for preventing cracking or peeling due to volume shrinkage after sintering.
